Deer Leap

My family and I were camping in Lake Cuyamaca, outside of San Diego, California. A large portion of the lake was dried up and had this beautiful red grass throughout. I was photographing the scenery and some Great Blue Heron that was hanging out when a family of deer came into the lake bed. The deer spooked by the Heron and ran straight at me, allowing me to capture this image.
