Star Spangle Banner House

In this house was made the Star Spangle Banner which floated over Fort McHenry during its bombardments by the British on September 13 and 14 1814. This is the flag which inspired Francis Scott Key to write his immortal poem. The flag was made by Mary Young Pickersgill.
